    Viime päivien blogini ovat olleet sävyltään kovin alakuloisia, joten on syytä hiukan piristää tunnelmaa mukavilla muistoilla yhdestä kuvauskäynnistä erään lukijaperheeni kuukkelipihassa kaukana Suonenjoen keskustasta. Myös kuvat ovat samat kuin silloin julkaistussa pakinassani, ja ne on kuvattu tarinaan liittyvän talon pihassa yhtenä pimeänä talvipäivänä helmikuussa 2008.

    Totta vai taikaa?

    Jos osaisin taikoa, loihtisin itselleni vanhan pihapiirin harmaine hirsirakennuksineen. Kauas kaikesta turhasta mutta aivan lähelle kaikkia tarpeellisia palveluita. Luonnonrauhaan, jota häiritsisi vain jokunen tieltään eksynyt ohikulkija.

    Luonnon läheisyys näkyisi etenkin pihan eläimistössä, jotka luottavaisella käyttäytymisellään kertoisivat tilan asukkaiden ja eläinten välisestä syvästä luottamuksesta. Niinpä jänö uskaltaisi mitään pelkäämättä imettää pienokaisiaan aivan tuvan ikkunan alla. Supiperhekään ei ujostelisi käydä joskus etsimässä isäntäväen jättämiä ruuantähteitä.

    Puhumattakaan viereisen metsikön liito-oravista, jotka yöllisillä ravinnonhakumatkoillaan vierailisivat pihaa reunustavissa koivuissa.

    Ja linnut. Niitä minä taikoisin joka sorttia täyttämään kesäisin laulullaan läheiset metsät. Talveksi minä kutsuisin pihaan metsiemme kauneimmat linnut värittämään muuten niin valjua talvista maisemaa. Pihassa kävisivät tietenkin kultaiset keltasirkut ja upeat urpiaiset.
